My Story

I started this blog in 2013 while going through my breast cancer journey. It was a short-lived journal to document my “Journey back to good.” Ten years later, I’ve felt the tug to write again. I’m beyond grateful to have made it this far and still be cancer-free. I’ve learned a lot about natural health and being your best advocate for true wellness and healing. Although I am not there yet, I am more determined than ever to continue navigating through new diagnoses and challenges – Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Lynch Syndrome, Breast implant illness (BII), osteoporosis, chronic fatigue, and inflammation & blood sugar challenges, to name a few.

I have a lot of work ahead of me and hope to share my journey of encouragement as I envision wellness and find my way back to good.

With love & hope,

Martha

Hashimoto’s & Ruptured Implants – Three-month Follow-up

Three months have passed since I first received my diagnosis of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, an autoimmune disease that causes your body to attack the thyroid.
